I analyzed the charts of each weekend, to predict what the vibe would be each weekend, and what kinds of events would flourish under the conditions created by the planets. Life is too complicated for astrology to predict events, but the amount of energy and the general mood can be gathered  by studying the ongoing relationships between the bodies of the solar system and Earth. Here I did it for you for free. Go through your calender and put happy faces on the good weekends, and horror faces on the bad ones. Have a fun… safe summer!

Here is my review of May 2025.

The weekend of May 3rd/4th.  This would be an excellent weekend, with feisty Leo Moon coming into square with fat, lazy, stubborn Taurus Sun. Leo Moon tangles with Mars in Leo as well, people will be feeling up and uppity. The Moon and Mars will be receiving supportive trines from important Saturn, and crazy outer planet Neptune. Mercury is in Aries conjunct magical Neptune could have people feeling energetic and whimsical. Feelings flying high.

Saturn and Neptune are coming conjunct now. This is some “Big Deal” astrology. The last time these two planets came together was 1981, and the Berlin Wall fell. Just sayin’. Saturn and Neptune conjunct is also one of the cosmic recession indicators.

May 10th/11th. This is the weekend just before Scorpio Full Moon opposes Taurus Sun. The energy here feels heavy and hard to move. I would say this is a good time for meeting with big, heavy important people. Saturday the 10th does seem to have some good energy for communicating about something important. Mercury is entering Taurus while the Moon is heading into Scorpio, seems like people will itch to be stubborn about things.

Jupiter is square Neptune/Saturn. That’s a big deal, the aspect event that opens the door for the important aspect pattern that will dominate the next three years. Uranus trine Pluto, with each sextile Neptune, and also Saturn. These aspects make the next three years a good time to make smooth changes to the structure of our world, important change can happen easily now. It is a very good time to organize, and form organizations that have to do with equality and civil rights. These are long term, ongoing aspects just beginning at this time. Back to the weekends….

May 17th/18th would be better than the weekend before. The Sun and Moon are engaged with a nice easy sextile, and conjunct Pluto in Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of progressiveness and equality. Aquarius is a very important sign for the United States of America. This weekend wouldn’t have the charge of the waxing square of May 3rd/4th, but there’s still connections to be made. Mercury in Taurus square Mars in Leo should be pretty fusstastic. Who wants to butt heads?!

I would say the weekend of May 24th/25th was a wild card. Sun is recently moved into Gemini and still conjunct wild outer planet Uranus. The Moon is deep  in the 4th quarter in Aries, and Mercury is in Aries too. There could be people who delight in making troubles out and about. I think it would be hard to control or be certain of outcomes of events at this time.

June 3, 2025
June 3, 2025

The best weekends in June are the 7th and 8th, and also the weekend of June 15th/14th. There are some non-weekend days that are pretty amazing too… The waxing square of the Moon happens on the 3rd of June. It’s a shame that’s it’s not on the weekend, so a large group could take advantage of the energy. It would be a great day to pull a prank or put on a stunt for publicity

June 3rd/4th I think are the most amazing days all month. The Sun in Gemini is square the waxing Moon in Virgo. Both of these mutable signs love to be busy and talkative, and the nervous energy will flow. Mercury is also in Gemini and it’s a great time to use your evil powers for good.

The interesting thing about this day is that we see the first appearance of that very important, long last aspect pattern between the outer planets. This is defiantly an energy that we are going to want to tap into. Uranus, a powerfully progressive influence, has come into an easy trine with Pluto in Aquarius. This is a time when change can easily occur. These are both sextile to mystical Neptune, which gives this powerful time a magical tinge.

This aspect will take three or four years to develop, so here the energies are very new. This aspect is a very, very good one for the causes of democracy, people’s rights, and moving human kind forward. Save the Earth, paradise needs to win.

Uranus is still in Taurus at this time, but is about to move into air sign Gemini after being in Taurus for seven years. The fact that many of our Outer Planets are changing signs is all part of the big astrology going down. At the same time! Massive Neptune is just moving into Aries, after being in Pisces for 2700 years, (since 2012), and along comes stern Saturn and sat down besides her. The Gods gather in the arena.

In any case, the weekend of the 7th/8th should be a  pretty good one. The Moon is almost full, so there’s lots and lots of energy around. Mercury is in Gemini, and conjunct Jupiter in Gemini, so the vibe for running your yap will be strong. You always have to be careful with Mercury. In his home sign, and conjunct his big pal Jupiter, his potential is huge. Mercury loves to play tricks on people, so… try not to take yourself to seriously, and be ready to laugh off the little things, or you going to go down in a snarl of phone charge cords. These two are tied into that big Outer Planet aspect pattern. There could be a secret plan going on that none of us are privy too. The moon is so close to Full this weekend, that there could be a bit of a slow, dreamy vibe as well. This weekend seems like a lot, it has a big of an anonymous vibe, I’d say we’re all just along for the ride this weekend in June. Don’t mess with Mercury unless you can handle a good hard bounce, He is the most dangerous of the gods.

June 14th/15th is a few days after the Full Moon. There’s still alot of energy washing around, but the energy is messy. If I had to do anything at this time, I would keep it simple. It seems like the message will be hard to clarify. The Sun and the Moon aren’t making much contact this weekend. There’s still that bit  anonymous feeling in the air.

During the weekend of June 21st/22nd, we are deep into the fourth quarter, and this whole weekend is all full of all kinds of whack aspects. It is not good. Mars in is a weird Yod with Pluto and Saturn/Neptune, the fourth quarter Moon is going conjunct Uranus, which is like attaching some electrodes to a dead rat. Fried hair and nerves.

The only good things I can see are the Sun is coming conjunct with Jupiter in Cancer and Mercury is in Cancer. So if I had to yell about anything, I would yell about families the whole time. Actually, American’s Sun is in Cancer, America truly should be about caring for families. Mercury is conjunct Mercury in Cancer in America’s chart, so, really. If you are doing something, make it about families, and about how families are what America should be all about. All families. Mothers and families are the thematic strong point this weekend. And everyone will be exhausted, so take it easy on them.

July, 2025. This is the month America has it’s birthday. And also this year it will be having a Jupiter return right around the same time. America has the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter all in Cancer, which really emphasizes the themes of family, home and nurturing that are an important part of America’s identity.

The weekend of July 5, 6 seems like a nice simple, clean weekend. Saturday it’s nice because the energy is so pared down, just the bones of the current energy structure are there. Deep Scorpio Moon is trine Cancer Sun, which is like an underwater safety line, strong for pulling on. Mars and Sun connect, and Mercury and Moon are square, these connections make alot of energy for doing things. Jupiter is in Cancer, which is a great and loving sign, with Jupiter in Cancer, your cup slopeth over. Jupiter in Cancer is square to the Neptune/Saturn conjunction. The energy is broad, profound, and simple. Classy.

On Sunday the energy turns harsh, and jangly. Great day to be snippy.

The weekend of July 12th/13th seems pretty okay. This weekend is just a few days after the full moon, and there seems to be alot of gentle energy around. The cup is still mostly full. Mercury in Leo opposes waning Moon in Aquarius, we can feel proud to get up for equality. The Sun is still full of tender Cancer energy, and the Moon moves over Pluto and into inconjunction with Mars, so there’s alot of energy being thrown around. Jupiter in Cancer is just moving out of it’s square to the triangle full of big bad Outer Planets, I feel like for some reason, this dying square aspect has one mean left hook left in it. Weird vibes have everyone in the mood for messy emotional struggles. Seems like a good weekend to chain yourself to something, and then have a good cry.

Mercury then goes retrograde on Saturday, July 19th. I’m still not sure what to make of Mercury retrograde. It kind of seems like it’s a safe time, because the Beautiful Monster goes to take a nap. Mercury retrograde is when Mercury goes down to the Underworld, and has himself a little rest. At this time, he cannot mess with us. When he comes back, he is refreshed, and his cycle starts over.

It can be dangerous for events you planned before the retrograde, that then happen during the retrograde. Which of course, is going to happen, we can’t just stop making plans, can we?  Just expect your planned event to have to go through a little bend in time sometime between when you formulate your plans, to when it actually occurs. You may have to make adjustments. Once the retrograde actually gets going, it doesn’t seem to be that big of a deal.

The Moon is in fourth quarter the weekend of July 19th/20th. It’s going to be hot, and people will be cranky. This is a weird weekend. Saturday the 19th just has tons of aspects, everything going on. I would think this would be a time some crazy shit could happen, and the energy will be hard to control and direct. Just lots of squares and lines crossing each other, everyone screaming about different issues to each other. The next day, the 20th is much more peaceful. Mars is in irritable Virgo, and the Moon is once again coming conjunct harsh and electric Uranus in the fourth quarter.  Mercury in retrograde makes the energy hard to catch hold of. The Sun is opposite Pluto, and Mars in Virgo squares Venus in Gemini. Troubles and tricks.

August 2, 2025
August 2, 2025
August 3, 2025
August 3, 2025

The weekend of August 2nd/3rd is the really good one. Mercury is still retrograde, but as long as you wait to plan the final details until after July 18th, it shouldn’t be a big deal. The rest of the energy is great, a calm day with great big sails. The sine wave of the vibe this day is tall, powerful, yet stable. There is several aspects patterns, an energizing T-square, but also a stabilizing Grand Trine in rational air signs. This grand trine is great, with all the heavy hitters, Pluto, Uranus and Mars are all in air signs. Open the flood gates of rationality and equality. It is the day to be powerfully nonviolent, and just carry so much force. The T-square with Mars, Venus, and Saturn/Neptune is mostly a cardinal influence, stirring the energy and keeping up the pace. The Moon is quite energetic after it’s recent square with Leo Sun.

AND THEN I LOOKED AT SUNDAY, HOLY SHIT! Dang, Sunday, May the 3rd is like no other. There are two grand trines, making a perfect six point star in the day chart. Wow, you just don’t see that. The Sun is in Leo, with the Moon trining from fiery Sagittarius, the world is just snapping firecrackers. This is a day to just come out and strut your stuff! Everything is plugged in, everything is go. The energy is perfectly held, it’s all so stable, and embraced. There are also three separate oppositions and still that T-square with Venus as a focal planets. There’s plenty of energy for shoving back and forth. We fight for Love. I would try and make the atmosphere fun and a bit wild, and try and soak up energies that left undirected could vent themselves in violence. A day to be fearless, but remember what the cat said. It is good to have fun, but you have to know how.

There is no way the rest of the month is going to top that.

But the next weekend is pretty decent too. August 9th/10th 2025 just after the Full Moon. The energy should be whole, there are quite a few large aspect patterns to hold the energy in shape, nothing like the flags and banners of the weekend before, but it should be an excellent time to get things accomplished and arranged.  There’s a grand trine with a sextile pattern that makes it into a Kite aspect pattern, and also a rectangular aspect pattern, that seem to hold a tinge of sadness and seriousness. The energy is quiet, and a bit grave, something serious has happened.

The next weekend is the New Moon, and it actually seems like a really nice time. By the weekend of August 23rd/24th, we’re recovered from that first weekend in August that was so crazy! It’s a New Moon, which can be harsh, but it seems like a nice New Moon. On Saturday, the Sun and Moon move into Virgo together, and sure, they make a weird Yod to the Pluto/ Neptune sextile, but we can still be friends.

Mercury has come out of retrograde, though that means a whole new cycle of bullshit is starting up, the energy here is still pretty small. Mercury is in contact with Mars. Sunday is like, lots of shit going on, but no sense to it. Seems like a day to sit around and gossip so hard all day. We’re still blown away by the events at the beginning of August.

This is my energy forecast for the summer weekends.

I was watching Bill Clinton being interviewed on Stephen Colbert. He said that democrats practice inclusive tribalism, and that republicans practice exclusive tribalism. This made me really happy. I love being in an inclusive tribe.

I’m an astrologer, I want to help the cause.

I would propose that activist groups avail themselves of the skills of reputable astrologers, to help with the timing of important events. Why not? We should use all the skills and powers available to us in the fight. We have much more intellectual freedom than the right, and that is one of our strengths.

I went through the whole summer, and analyzed each weekend astrologically.

I don’t find it especially profitable to try and predict events with astrology. Our world and reality is much too complex for that. But what I can predict is what the vibe will be for a particular time. We’re a part of a solar system filled with unique individuals who sway and twirl in the crisscrossing waves of energy constantly moving through. I’m providing a brief analyses of the likely energies that will be constellating each weekend of the summer. This can help people plan and manage events. I’m thinking, you know, Actions, but this information could also be used to plan parties.

The simplest way to take advantage of the natural tides of energy that wash around all of us, all the time, is to pay attention to what phase the moon is in. The moon rules the mood and level of emotional energy for the day, and it will effect everyone whether they are conscious of it or not.

The other important factor is the planet Mercury. Mercury has to do with the pace of daily events, what kinds of things happens, and generally, all-around, who or what is getting fucked with that day. Mercury is a very busy invisible mischievous force that loves to haunt human kind. I have become more aware of Mercury of a force to recon with. Greek mythology records him as a trickster, it’s true. But I’m starting to think that he’s so compulsively tricky that the Norse god Loki describes Mercury even better. I mostly judge the effects of Mercury by how many aspects the planet is making. On a day when Mercury is really strong, he is out in force, messing with everyone and everything.

The one thing to remember about Mercury is that He is completely adorable, and you could never be mad at Him.

For students of history and politics, the long running, background aspects of the Outer Planets can be really interesting to study. The Outer Planets are heavily implicated in the sudden appearance of huge social forces for change. It’s very interesting.

This is actually a really important time right now. We have an aspect that has to do with the fight for freedom and equality that will last about three years. It is just about to begin. There won’t be another aspect of this type until 2048. This is a time to push forward, and after this time, we will be stuck with what we’ve got for another twenty years. This is a great time to form or renew organizations that have to do with promoting civil rights, diversity and equality.

At this time, there are some really big energies, coming to fruition and coming to release, now, and in the next few years. Change is here.

The daily round of shifting energies are mostly regulated and provided by the Moon and Mercury, so I analyzed charts of New York city for suitable weekends throughout the summer, to see which weekends would have the best energy.

The Moon is the dominant factor.

I would not recommend the Full or New Moons for times to get things done. The whole period of the New Moon seems to be difficult for people. On the New Moon, there is not enough “juice” or emotional energy. This is a time when people are cranky and tired, emotions are brittle and violence can lurk just under the surface. Most of the Full Moon phase is a great time to get people together. The actual three day period of the Full Moon can be hard to handle. The Full Moon is just too much, people are swamped, and day dreamy… they are going to be easily distracted by fantasies and personal concerns. There is too much moon juice in the air.

I discovered this rhythm by observing the moon phases, and the behavior of the people around me, for a good decade at least. I also read the local crime reports throughout. The rhythm is subtle, but perceptible. I have noticed that assaults and domestic violence typically rise around the New Moon. During the Full Moon, contrary to popular opinion, people are sweet and calm. They might be wild, but they’re happy. They have what they need, and they feel good. We feed on that magic. When it drains away during the waning after the Full, we come up against harsh reality, without that fantasy energy to gloss things over a bit for us.

It will be easy to reproduce what I have learned, by acquiring a calendar that notes the phases of the moon, and pay attention to how the public mood changes regularly with this cycle. You can also observe your own moods, and ability to handle stress as it changes throughout the moon month. Relationships are very much impacted by this cycle of energy

The best time to get some things done, that are difficult to do, is the Second Quarter through the Gibbous phase, and then for about a half a week after the Full Moon. It’s fine to do whatever you want the other times, but the energy will be harder to direct, and outcomes for events involving crowds will be more uncertain. Taking advantage of these emotional tides means you can direct your event towards desired outcomes. If you want happy, energized people, Second Quarter is your best bet. If you want tired, cranky malcontents with chips on their shoulders, schedule your event for three days before the next New Moon.

There are also long term astrological trends to take advantage of. Those will come into play in the summer of 2026. The years 2026-2028 will be a time when deep change can take place in an easy and peaceful, or holistic way. This is an exciting time when things can really change, or organizations can be formed that will be there for us in the challenging times ahead.

This information is also useful for people attending events and actions. I ran all these charts for New York City…. because, New York City keeps Americas pulse, whether we like it or not. You could also use this information to plan some fun parties, and avoid throwing parties on weekends when people could be moody and agro.

The stand-out days I noticed where May 3rd and 4th, June 3rd, and the weekend of the 7th 8th. But the best absolute weekend of the summer is August 2nd/3rd. That is the weekend of all weekends. Hope the weather is nice.

In May, some very important long term cycles begin. Beginnings are small and weak, so these events won’t be impactful for a bit, but this is the beginning of energies that will grow stronger, and result in changes to the structures of the world we live in now.

Overall, June and August will be much better than July, July is quiet and a bit awkward, although with some promise in the opening weekends.

I kinda have a bad feeling about this summer. I am very hopeful that things will be normal, but, I feel like things might be… crazy. I am really concerned about this summer, I hope everyone stays safe.

With the hot summers we’re experiencing, it will be unsafe for a lot of the members of the public to attend summer outdoor events, unless they’re held early in the day. We should call for General Strikes to coincide with protests. It’s a safe, easy way for more people to participate and use their power to effect change, They won’t even have to worry about challenging their work. So easy. They can still refuse to participate in the economy. A lot of shopping happens on the weekend.

I will review what I believe will be the best days to hold protests, and throw parties, this summer of 2025. I’m sure people already have their summer events scheduled, but those who are interested can use this information to test my assertion that the Moon’s power hold sway over the vibe.
